Ilian Evtimov (born April 28, 1983 in Sofia, Bulgaria), is a professional basketball player. A French national, he is the youngest son of Bulgarian basketball star Ilija (Ilia) Evtimov and the brother of professional Euroleague player Vassil "Vasco" Evtimov. Evtimov played basketball in the United States at NCAA Division 1 North Carolina State University from 2001-2006. Evtimov signed his first professional contract with Vidivici Bologna in 2006 [1] and joined the Deutsche Bank Skyliners for the 2007-2008 season.[2] He is 6 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 215 pounds.[3]
